Our Story

Thomas & Company is locally owned and operated by Kaylene and Steve Pofahl.

Kaylene has been in the haircare business since 1980 (with a break to raise two kids!),
and has worked as a stylist in Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado, and South Dakota.
Steve has an extensive business management background. Together we
think we make a great team!

Why the name ‘Thomas & Company’?
Thomas is Kaylene’s maiden name, and also the name of our son
(see Tom’s photo on this page). Besides, we thought ‘Pofahl & Company’
would be too hard to pronounce and remember!
